Thierry Conrad Reutenauer joins Loewe as Global Communications Director after leading communications at Bottega Veneta and Chloé.

The luxury fashion world welcomes a major strategic move as Thierry Conrad Reutenauer joins Loewe as Global Communications Director, marking a new chapter for the Spanish house. The announcement was made by Reutenauer himself through his personal Instagram account, confirming an important shift in his professional journey.

Until recently, Reutenauer held the same position at Bottega Veneta, taking over at Loewe from Carmine Spena, who served in the role for the past two years and has yet to reveal his next step. His arrival coincides with a creative transition at the brand, now led by Jack McCollough and Lázaro Hernández, the duo who unveiled their first collection for Loewe during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.

With over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, Thierry Conrad Reutenauer built an impressive international profile during his five-year tenure at Bottega Veneta, where he oversaw communications under three creative directors: Daniel Lee, Matthieu Blazy and Louise Trotter, who debuted her first collection for the brand for Spring/Summer 2026. Prior to his time in Milan, he spent six years at Chloé, leading public relations, events and celebrity management in Paris under the creative direction of Clare Waight Keller and Natacha Ramsay-Levi.

A graduate in Media, Corporate Communication and Institutional Affairs from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in the Netherlands, Reutenauer began his career at Karla Otto, one of the industry’s most influential PR agencies. His appointment at Loewe reinforces the brand’s global communications strategy during a period of international expansion and renewed creative identity.
