Tiffany & Co. and Oscar Wang celebrate the ‘Year of the Snake’ with a unique collaboration blending contemporary design, Chinese culture, and ceramic craftsmanship.

Tiffany & Co. partners with artist Oscar Wang to commemorate the ‘Lunar New Year’ with a collaboration that blends the brand’s elegance with Wang’s culturally resonant design. Drawing inspiration from ceramic craftsmanship and Chinese culture, Wang has created a unique motif that celebrates the symbolic richness of the ‘Year of the Snake.’

The central design of the collaboration merges the symbolism of the snake with the infinite loops of the figure-eight knot. This motif, incorporating serpentine curves and an infinity heart shape, pays tribute to Tiffany’s iconic ‘Open Heart’ design, highlighting the spirit of love. The figure-eight, a symbol of fortune and prosperity in Chinese culture, is present in every detail.

The centerpiece is a sculptural jewellery box made from Blanc de Chine porcelain from Dehua, Fujian, and coated with a Tiffany blue ceramic glaze. This jewellery box features a Chinese knot symbolising luck and unity. Additionally, the collection includes a ceramic stand that allows jewellery to be displayed, suspended within the framework of the infinity heart.

The collaboration is further complemented by exclusive Lunar New Year packaging, with boxes and bags adorned with embossed snake patterns, golden ribbons, and a modern red charm with tassels designed by Wang.
