Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet clearly aren’t ready to discuss their relationship just yet. The potential couple has taken precautions to keep their apparent romantic involvement a well-guarded secret, enjoying secretive dates in vehicles and donning masks and dark clothing to conceal their appearances while spending time together.
While she has maintained complete silence about her current romance with the “Wonka” star, she has dropped hints in the past about her approach to relationships. “I know he doesn’t like the attention,” she once told GQ about her ex, Travis Scott, and the media attention generated by the Kardashian clan. “That’s why we keep our relationship super private, or if he has events or something, I don’t attend. Because I want him to do his thing.”
Revealingly, she also expressed her concern that the men she’s dated simply can’t handle the intense public scrutiny. “They come and can’t handle it,” she said. “I know these stories won’t matter, so don’t even let them affect you, you know?… It’s not just men; they’re friends, they’re people who come and just don’t know how to handle it. That’s the negative. There are a lot of people who love us, but there’s also a big group of people who don’t like us.”

April 2023: Romance Rumors Emerge
DeuxMoi was the first to accuse the mother of two and the “Beautiful Boy” actor of dating, issuing a “new couple alert” about the alleged pair on April 6. Just a day later, the resurfaced video showed them chatting and laughing endearingly together at Paris Fashion Week, with Kylie wearing a bustier and skirt.
Within days, on April 13, TMZ shared the first clear evidence of a possible relationship: photos of Kylie’s luxurious black Range Rover stealthily parked at Timothée’s Beverly Hills mansion. The Daily Mail later reported they were spotted at the secret taco stand Tito’s Taco Stand in Los Angeles.
Later that month, a source revealed to Us Weekly that Kylie saw potential in the handsome actor to move on from the father of her two children. The source reportedly said, “Kylie thinks Timothée is really sweet and sees potential. Kylie knows she and Travis will always be in each other’s lives, and they have an amazing co-parenting relationship. Part of dating Timothée is the hope to move on after Travis, but that hasn’t happened yet. There’s always the possibility of reconciling with Travis at some point.”

After maintaining an extremely low profile for most of a month, Kylie’s vehicle was seen again at Timothée’s sprawling residence on May 25. Meanwhile, a source told Entertainment Tonight that her ex wasn’t thrilled. “Travis isn’t excited that Kylie is moving on,” the source said, noting that they are still “cordial and focused on co-parenting and being the best parents they can be” for their adorable children Stormi, 5, and Aire, 1.
June 2023
On June 1, suspicions seemed to heighten when Page Six published the first photos of Kylie and Timothée together. All were allegedly taken in the previous month, May, and one showed them at a casual barbecue attended by her sister Kendall Jenner.
In June, a report from Us Weekly indicated that they had started spending a lot of time together. “Kylie and Timothée have been spending a lot more time together and are getting closer every day,” a source said in the June 2 report. “Some of Kylie’s family members have already met Timothée, including Kris and Kendall. They really like him and think he’s different from all the guys Kylie has dated in the past,” the source continued. “He has a great sense of humor and makes her smile, which is most important to them. They love seeing her happy and fully approve of them dating.”
August 2023
Apart from Travis’s criticism of Timothée in a recently released song, the couple remained largely under the radar throughout the month of July. But in early August, a report emerged claiming that the pair had broken up, which was quickly debunked.
A report from Life & Style on August 2 claimed that Kylie and Timothée had already split. “She’s telling people that things between them naturally fizzled out because they’re both busy and traveling,” a source was quoted as saying. “But friends are saying Kylie got dumped.” On the same day, a source from TMZ claimed they were still together and dismissed the earlier report as “false.”
On August 26, Kylie was once again seen leaving Timothée’s place, and the actor also left in a separate vehicle. Both were wearing masks to keep the outing extremely private. It’s unclear where they were headed… but fans are much more interested in knowing exactly where their relationship is headed.
