Flea, the bassist of Red Hot Chili Peppers, will front the lookbook.
UNDERCOVER has once again teamed up with Levi’s to celebrate its 35th anniversary with a new collaborative collection inspired by past collections from the Japanese brand from the ’90s and 2000s. To showcase this new release from two brands rooted in craftsmanship and creativity, Levi’s and UNDERCOVER have chosen Flea, the bassist of Red Hot Chili Peppers, as the face of the collection, as they both agree that the musician perfectly embodies the essence and spirit of both brands.
After announcing UNDERCOVER’s participation in Paris Fashion Week in March, the label led by Jun Takahashi embarks on this new project, which will consist of nine pieces with a rockstar and modern spirit.

One of the key pieces of this collection will be the “Pinnacle Type II Trucker” jacket, which references the Fall/Winter 1998 collection. These jackets will be available in indigo selvedge denim and black corduroy, featuring detachable zipper details throughout the silhouette and side seams, allowing consumers to personalise them as they wish.
Of course, another key item in the collection will be the jeans, and there will be two distinctive styles: the iconic Levi’s 501, which will have an embroidered pattern on the side seams and a back patch, and the baggy jeans, which will be looser and feature graphic elements from the “Type III Trucker Jacket” designs. The line will be completed with three types of cotton t-shirts in black and white, with zigzag patterns on the neck, different printing techniques, and embroidery highlighting the graphics.

The Levi’s x UNDERCOVER collection will be available from January 18, and will be available for purchase on Levi’s online store and app, as well as select UNDERCOVER stores and its online store.
