The 92nd edition of the Venice Film Festival promises us great surprises and film premieres, while also reflecting on the previous year’s red carpet looks.

The Venice Film Festival is a highly significant global event, especially in the race for major film industry awards, and has been held since 1932 in Hollywood. Stars surprise us each year on the red carpet with extravagant yet luxurious outfits.

This year will be no exception. The awards will take place from August 28 to September 7 and will be held at the ‘Palazzo del Cinema’ on the Lido of Venice.

The film to kick off the red carpet at the festival will be ‘Beetlejuice 2’. In the official competition, we will see ‘The Next Door’, directed by Pedro Almodóvar; ‘Babygirl’, starring Antonio Banderas; ‘The Jockey’, the latest from Úrsula Corberó; ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, featuring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix; ‘Diva Futura, I’m Still Here’; ‘Trois Amies’; ‘Maria’, with Angelina Jolie portraying the famous opera singer Maria Callas; ‘The Order’, ‘April’, ‘Love’, and ‘Queer’, a gay drama by Daniel Craig directed by Luca Guadagnino; as well as ‘Iddu’, ‘Vermiglio’, ‘The Quiet Son’,The Brutalist’, ‘Leurs Enfants Après Eux’, and ‘Campo di Battaglia’.
