Jenna Ortega channels a ‘Born This Way’-era vibe at the London premiere of ‘Wednesday 2’.

Jenna Ortega has once again proved that dark style can be sophisticated. The ‘Wednesday‘ star captivated on the purple carpet at the world premiere of the show’s second season, held on Wednesday 30 July at the iconic Central Hall Westminster in London. At just 22 years old, Ortega continues to cement her status as a fashion icon and generational talent.

For the occasion, the actress wore a striking design by Ashi Studio, featuring a semi-sheer latex corset with snakeskin texture, laced at the back, paired with a fitted high-neck top and a floor-length mermaid skirt with asymmetric ruffles. Bold and provocative, the ensemble echoed the aesthetics of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way era. A deliberate nod to pop’s more subversive universe? All signs suggest Jenna knows exactly what message each of her looks conveys.

She completed the outfit with Jimmy Choo heels and Rainbow K jewellery.

The premiere gathered the full cast, including Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and this season’s new additions: Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper and Joanna Lumley, among others. Also in attendance were showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, along with the legendary Tim Burton, director and executive producer.

The second season of ‘Wednesday‘ will be released in two parts: the first dropping on 6 August, and the second on 3 September. Ortega returns as the sharp and magnetic Wednesday Addams, facing new supernatural mysteries, family tensions, and challenges at Nevermore Academy.
