Following the trend research institute WGSN and color experts Coloro naming “Future Dusk” as the color of the year, they have now announced the color palette for spring/summer 2025.
These colors, according to Coloro, convey a sense of tranquility and exert a powerful attraction. Furthermore, the colors “reflect a significant shift towards strategic imagination.” The names of this color palette are: Trascendent Pink, Acquatic Awe, Sunset Coral, Ray Flower, and, obviously, Future Dusk.

As previously mentioned, Future Dusk [129-35-18] is the color for spring/summer 2025, and although it may seem like a somewhat gloomy shade for this season, dark and captivating tones will take center stage. The dark and captivating shade takes advantage of the current transitional moment and is therefore particularly suitable for current changes, said Urangoo Samba, color manager at WGSN. “This reliable blue will greatly contribute to reinforcing a sense of confidence and stability, but as violet, it also has a fantastic quality that will dynamically drive the creation of new futures,” Samba stated.

On the other hand, Transcendent Pink [086-70-25] is not a shade of pink but rather a kind of antique pink/beige. Coloro describes it as an almost imperceptible tone with an earthy and balancing effect, loaded with a sense of stability. Additionally, it is a shade that adapts to all seasons and is suitable for all genders and demographic groups.

Aquatic Awe [086-70-25], a turquoise color, takes its name from the book “Awe: The Transformative Power of Everyday Wonder.” The color invites us to “cultivate awe,” says Samba. The color expert believes this tone, which celebrates the strange and wonderful aspects of nature, is also ideal for connecting with the digital world. Aquatic Awe evokes marine life and its ecosystems.

“Sunset Coral is a color that appeals to our desire to enjoy life’s simple pleasures,” says Guilbert from Coloro, referring to the coral color. Sunset Coral [009-58-31] “serves as an antidote to the current obsession with productivity and, despite its energetic appearance, invites us to enjoy doing nothing.” This shade, reminiscent of a sunset, aims to connect moments of pleasure with a sense of purpose.

And the last color for the SS25 season is Ray Flower [037-832-32], a color that brings light and optimism. “This color is inherently optimistic and relaxing,” says Samba. “Ray Flower aligns with the growing trend towards a more radical and considered approach to sustainability, where the environment is treated as a client in design and production, and nature as another member of management.” Additionally, Coloro cites the work of multidisciplinary designer Jess Redgrave as a source of inspiration for this radiant yellow tone.
