The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has also adjusted its calendar. The announcement of the Oscar nominations, initially set for 17 January, has been delayed to 19 January, with the voting period extended to accommodate members affected by the crisis.

Additionally, events such as the AFI Awards luncheon and the BAFTA Tea Party have been cancelled or postponed. Television productions for shows like Grey’s Anatomy‘, ‘NCIS‘, and ‘The Price Is Right’ have halted filming due to hazardous conditions.
