The presence of Ana de Armas, Jennifer Connelly and Chloë Grace Moretz in Madrid is fuelling speculation about Louis Vuitton’s next creative move.

Madrid could unexpectedly become the new epicentre of the Louis Vuitton universe. Although the maison has not confirmed a runway show in the Spanish capital, the coincidence of three of its most recognised ambassadors working in the city has sparked speculation across both the fashion and film industries.

Actresses Jennifer Connelly and Ana de Armas are heading to Madrid to begin filming the Apple TV+ series ‘Safe Houses’, an international production that blends espionage, drama and action. For Ana de Armas, the project also marks a return to a city that played an important role in her life. The actress, born in Cuba, lived for several years in the Spanish capital before establishing her career in Hollywood. During her recent appearance at the Louis Vuitton show in Paris, she revealed that the production will also include moments in Spanish. “Of course, I’ll be using my Spanish again,” she commented.

Meanwhile, Chloë Grace Moretz is already temporarily based in Madrid, where she is filming the action-comedy ‘Mister’ alongside actor Walton Goggins. The actress has admitted she is fascinated by the city’s energy, its gastronomy and the vibrant atmosphere found in its streets, where she has even begun learning a few Spanish expressions.

The connection with Louis Vuitton remains clear. Jennifer Connelly, a longstanding ambassador of the house and close collaborator of creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, as well as Ana de Armas and Chloë Grace Moretz, are all part of the circle of celebrities representing the maison’s contemporary spirit.

Although Louis Vuitton’s most recent show took place in Paris, the movement of these figures towards Madrid has reignited a question within the industry: if the house’s next narrative is not presented on a Spanish runway, perhaps it will unfold in its streets, now becoming the backdrop for new cinematic and style-driven stories.
