According to Deadline, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are in early talks to headline the filmmaker’s new movie. While plot details have not yet been revealed, it is reported to follow the romantic story of a couple who experience “an unexpected twist” the day before their wedding. Borgli has written the script himself, and Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Tyler Campellone will be producing.
Deadline also notes that A24 was eager to reunite with Borgli following the success of Dream Scenario, and that Zendaya’s “strong interest” in joining the film accelerated its development. With Pattinson’s potential involvement, The Drama has become a priority for the studio.
