The Australian fashion house presents a sun-drenched, artistic campaign celebrating self-expression, creative community and a new, liberated femininity inspired by the 1970s
Zimmermann continues to strengthen its international standing with the unveiling of its Spring 2026 campaign, an editorial proposal that looks directly to the artistic rebellion of the 1970s and translates it into a contemporary, refined and emotionally charged language. Shot by Emma Summerton along the Californian coast, the campaign brings together Edie Campbell, Abby Champion and Louise Robert—three distinct presences united by a shared idea: style flourishes when freedom and creative support exist.

Titled Kindred Spirit, the collection is conceived as a tribute to the artistic communities that challenged conservative norms in their era. Zimmermann channels that legacy into garments that balance technical ambition with ease of wear, two pillars that now define the house’s evolving identity. Colour becomes the primary language, with signature florals reworked at bolder scales and a palette that favours character over predictability.
One of the collection’s standout strengths lies in its treatment of volume and construction. The dialogue between the Sydney studio—renowned for fluid gowns and original artwork—and the Paris team’s precision results in silhouettes that feel relaxed yet meticulously considered. A newly developed texture, dubbed “super-fluff”, emerges through layers of bias-cut organza, bringing sculptural lightness and movement to key looks.
The wardrobe ranges from artist-inspired overalls and Seventies-inflected tailoring to tie-dye dresses, harem trousers and braided necklines, always conceived with real life in mind as much as visual impact. With Spring 2026, Zimmermann confirms its quiet ascent and reasserts a belief that shared creativity remains one of contemporary fashion’s most powerful driving forces.
