Emily swaps Paris for Rome and Venice in the fifth season, as she faces a secret that could shake everything up.

Netflix has just released the first official teaser for the highly anticipated fifth season of ‘Emily in Paris’, which will premiere all ten episodes on 18 December. In this new chapter, Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins) expands her horizons beyond the City of Light, embracing the dolce far niente as she divides her time between Paris, Rome, and the canals of Venice.

The story picks up with Emily leading the Roman branch of Agence Grateau, continuing Sylvie’s legacy on Italian soil. However, a brilliant professional idea turns against her, triggering both emotional and professional consequences. The teaser promises fresh romantic twists, ethical dilemmas, and the trademark glamour that has made the series a global phenomenon.

Dressed in colourful ensembles, romantic silhouettes, and carrying a stronger attitude than ever, Emily seems determined to redefine her concept of success — even as an unexpected secret threatens to destroy one of her closest bonds.

The original cast returns, including Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount, joined by Eugenio Franceschini, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg, and Michèle Laroque. The series remains under the creative direction of Darren Star, produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, Darren Star Productions, and Jax Media.

With iconic settings and a more mature lead, the fifth season of ‘Emily in Paris’ promises a new era of tough choices, global ambition, and unmistakable style. Will Emily finally find the balance between heart and career? We’ll find out this December.
