The Pre-Fall 2026 collection from Roberto Cavalli revives a true seventies spirit, defined by bold prints, lavish textures and a modern vision that reinforces the most powerful essence of the Italian house.

Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2026 unveils a collection that reasserts the aesthetic strength of the Italian brand. Under the creative vision of Fausto Puglisi, the house recovers the vibrant energy of the 1970s, translating it into a magnetic visual universe where prints, sensuality and craftsmanship regain centre stage. The proposal moves between the creative freedom of that decade and a contemporary reading that amplifies the designer’s rebellious identity.

Puglisi draws on New York’s seventies culture, inspired by its multicultural character and the cinematic narrative of the era. This imagery takes shape in refined silhouettes that serve as a canvas for an explosion of iconic prints, ranging from reimagined animal print to botanical motifs and graphic work developed by the designer himself. Among the standouts are photographic patchworks applied to fluid skirts and silk slip dresses, created from original leather compositions and metallic chains.

The collection experiments with new visual codes: Puglisi replaces the classic snake print with a hypnotic butterfly motif, whose enlarged patterns resemble a faux polka dot across dresses and pleated skirts, while its vibrant colour versions bring an arty dimension to the more sensual pieces. Added to this display are zebra prints, tie-dye effects and jaguar markings merged with roses to heighten the theatricality of the collection. The result materialises in garments ranging from refined denim to flared suits and skirts with fluid, voluminous ruffles.

The colour palette embraces earthy tones inspired by the desert landscapes of Nevada, contrasted with golden threads that echo the nocturnal glow of Las Vegas. Towards the end of the collection, Puglisi incorporates oriental influences with the revival of an archive motif and a delicate botanical print blossoming across airy dresses and an impeccably crafted silk robe.

When the prints take a step back, the textures seize control. Standout pieces include leather jackets with fringes and a distressed finish, suede waistcoats adorned with studs, and a faux-fur coat that reimagines the notion of sophistication in motion. With this collection, Roberto Cavalli reaffirms his free, powerful and maximalist essence, consolidating a visual narrative that keeps the brand’s audacity alive in a defining season for the industry.
