Cardi B stars alongside Huda Kattan in Huda Beauty’s new Ultra Snatched campaign, introducing a collection designed to brighten, smooth and enhance make-up.
Huda Beauty is taking one of its biggest success stories to the next level. The brand founded by Huda Kattan is expanding its popular Easy Bake family with Ultra Snatched, a collection dominated by pink and lilac shades that introduces new versions of its loose and pressed powders. To launch the range, the company has chosen a star who is impossible to ignore: Cardi B.
The rapper fronts “Snatched Baddies”, a playful campaign that transforms the effects promised by the new products into a humorous storyline. Rather than relying solely on traditional beauty imagery, Cardi and Kattan experience an unexpected body swap, inevitably recalling the premise of Freaky Friday.
The concept suits both personalities. The artist and the entrepreneur have each built part of their public image around an approach to make-up in which experimentation, exaggeration and having fun are just as important as achieving a flawless finish. The campaign uses precisely that connection to introduce Ultra Snatched from a playful perspective far removed from traditional luxury beauty codes.
Behind the humorous concept lies a strategic expansion of Easy Bake, one of Huda Beauty’s most recognisable ranges. The new products aim to intensify its signature perfected-skin effect with formulas designed to brighten, visually lift and blur the appearance of the skin.
Among the new launches are the Easy Bake Loose Setting Powder Duos, which combine two shades within a single product. The brand offers two options created for different skin tones.
Cherry Lilac combines shades intended for fair to light complexions, while Pink Ube is primarily designed for medium to tan skin tones. The colours can be blended together, allowing users to customise the finish depending on the desired effect.
According to Huda Beauty, the loose powders provide up to 18 hours of flashback-free wear, making them particularly relevant for anyone looking for make-up that performs both throughout the day and in flash photography. The combination of shades is also intended to enhance brightness in strategic areas of the face.
The collection also introduces new Easy Bake Pressed Powders. These are available in two brightening shades, with the formula promising to keep shine under control for up to 12 hours.
Application technique plays an important role in the overall concept. To achieve the maximum “snatched” effect, Huda Beauty recommends layering the products by combining the loose and pressed powders. This allows the make-up to be concentrated beneath the eyes and on areas where a more defined, luminous finish is desired.
The launch arrives as setting and brightening powders once again take centre stage within make-up trends. After seasons dominated by extremely natural finishes, new launches are bringing back more elaborate techniques while still relying on formulas designed to deliver a lightweight, polished appearance.
