Although the Spider-Man star skipped the blue carpet and initially remained out of sight of photographers, cameras eventually revealed that he was inside the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, supporting his wife.
Zendaya arrived solo at the ceremony on Monday, 14 September, wearing a spectacular Prada gown covered in crystals. Her long-time stylist, Law Roach, made sure every detail of the look was perfect before the actress posed for photographers.
The big surprise came once the ceremony was under way. Holland, 30, was spotted sitting alongside Zendaya in the audience. Shortly before a commercial break, cameras turned directly towards the couple as they shared a table, confirming the actor’s discreet presence at the event.
However, an even more significant image followed: Tom Holland and Zendaya posed together for a photograph, marking their first joint appearance at an awards ceremony. It was a rare moment for a couple who, despite being among Hollywood’s most famous pairings, have traditionally maintained a relatively private profile at major public events.
During one of the breaks, they were also spotted chatting with Chase Infiniti, while both posed for photographs with The Bear star Ayo Edebiri. Quinta Brunson also appeared in another photograph from the evening.
Zendaya also had an important professional role at the 2026 Emmys. The actress took to the stage to present the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, which ultimately went to Jean Smart.
The actress was not attending solely as a presenter, either. This year, she received her third Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the third season of Euphoria. Having won the award for each of the show’s first two seasons, Zendaya was hoping to add another statuette to her already impressive collection.
