Louis Vuitton unveils its new Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection starring Callum Turner, a Pharrell Williams creation that combines elegance, comfort and contemporary luxury.
Callum Turner is once again taking centre stage in the fashion world thanks to Louis Vuitton. The British actor, an ambassador for the French fashion house, fronts its new Spring/Summer 2027 Trunk Edition menswear campaign, a collection that explores a more relaxed, sophisticated and personal approach to luxury. Under the creative direction of Pharrell Williams, the collection focuses on wardrobe essentials, exclusive materials and an aesthetic that proves elegance does not need to be excessive.
Photographed by Gregory Harris in New York, the campaign features Turner in a series of portraits and a short film in which he plays a business traveller making the most of his free time to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Moving away from traditional fashion imagery, Louis Vuitton creates an intimate narrative in which the clothing accompanies its protagonist through different moments of the day.

The actor is seen playing chess, reading the newspaper, spending time with his dog and enjoying afternoon tea. He also practises a few golf swings and takes a moment to get ready. These seemingly ordinary scenes demonstrate how luxury menswear can adapt to different situations without compromising on sophistication.
This collection marks the second instalment of Trunk Edition, the concept developed by Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton, which revisits classic menswear codes and transforms them through a contemporary interpretation. The aim is to create a versatile wardrobe designed for men who value garment quality as much as comfort and freedom of movement.

One of the collection’s most distinctive features is its selection of materials. The fashion house introduces silk-cotton poplin, double-faced vicuña cashmere and indigo-washed denim crafted from cotton and cashmere. These fabrics feature across shirts, trousers and jackets that retain familiar silhouettes while incorporating exceptionally refined finishes.
The result is a collection that brings together contemporary tailoring, casual wardrobe staples and premium fabrics, demonstrating how the most traditional elements of menswear can take on an entirely new identity.

Another significant detail is the absence of prominent logos. Rather than relying on oversized branding, Louis Vuitton embraces understated luxury, allowing textures, proportions and craftsmanship to take centre stage. The French house’s signature VVN leather details appear as subtle references to its heritage.
Gregory Harris’s analogue photography further reinforces this philosophy. Close-up shots highlight the construction of the garments and the richness of the fabrics, while the lighting and settings create a cinematic atmosphere that perfectly complements Turner’s personality.
