BTS’s Jungkook states, “I hope my donation can help a little bit for the children who are in danger.”
South Korean singer of the K-Pop boyband BTS Jungkook has made a donation to support a children’s hospital in Seoul. South Korean media reported that the artist donated approximately US$750,000 to the health center at the country’s National University.
According to hospital officials, Jungkook’ s donation will go a long way in helping to fund the medical expenses of children from low-income households. The donation will also go toward the hospital’s comprehensive care center plan.

“I hope my donation can help the children at risk a little bit and I hope the children can smile happily,” Jungkook said in a press release. According to Korea JoongAng Daily the hospital responded by thanking the K-pop star for his charity and added that its operations are difficult to sustain without such donations.
