Nicolas Cage is rumored to be portraying Spider-Man Noir in a live-action series, according to reports. Sony has yet to confirm.

Nicolas Cage may be transitioning his voice work as Spider-Man Noir into the realm of live-action in an upcoming Spider-Man series.

According to The Ankler, Cage, who brought Spider-Man Noir to life in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse, is “in serious discussions” to reprise his character in the live-action series, set against the backdrop of 1930s New York City. However, these reports remain rumors, as Sony has not commented on the casting at the time of writing.

This rendition of Peter Parker emerged in New York City during the Great Depression and acquired his Spider-Man powers after being bitten by a spider housed within an idol resembling a spider god.

The live-action Spider-Man Noir series was first announced in February 2023 by Amazon, with sources claiming the series’ main character will not be Peter Parker. No further details have been revealed.
