Amazon MGM Studios Secures Exciting Thriller Starring Kim Kardashian and Natalie Krinsky. The Star Will Also Produce This Exclusive Project.
Reality star and entrepreneur, Kim Kardashian, will partner with Natalie Krinsky, who will handle the writing, for an exciting new cinematic project that has been acquired by Amazon MGM Studios after an intense bidding war.
According to Deadline, the upcoming title is a thriller penned by Natalie Krinsky, known for her work on Gossip Girl and Grey’s Anatomy, while Kardashian will take on the lead role and also handle production duties. At the time of this writing, little is known about the movie’s plot, but sources assure that it was “specifically developed for Kardashian.” The release window has not yet been announced.
This deal marks Kardashian’s second successful collaboration since the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike; in late November, Netflix acquired the comedy The Fifth Wheel, in which she will also participate as an actress and producer. The reality star and entrepreneur also recently announced that she will be an executive producer of the three-part documentary for the BBC, Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar. She was the last person to interview Taylor before her passing and will speak about her relationship with the late actress.
