Beyoncé will release a second vinyl of ‘Cowboy Carter’, now with all the songs included, following the incomplete limited edition.
Beyoncé, the iconic American singer and songwriter, will release a second vinyl of her album ‘Cowboy Carter’. This time, it will include all the songs from the album. In March, the singer released a limited edition double LP vinyl, packaged in an exclusive sleeve featuring her holding a cigar. However, that version omitted five songs that were present in the digital edition: “Ya Ya”, “Flamenco”, “Spaghetti”, “Oh Louisiana”, and “The Linda Martell Show”.
Now, Beyoncé returns with another vinyl, which is being promoted as the “official” version. Neither the singer nor her team have explained why the $40 USD limited version did not include a significant portion of the album. The absence of these songs could be the reason why the vinyl did not sell out and is still available on Beyoncé’s website and affiliated stores.
The updated vinyl, which uses the same cover as the digital version, is also a two-disc set, but it is more expensive than the limited edition, priced at $60 USD, totaling approximately $80 USD with taxes and shipping.
Frustrated fans who had already purchased the limited edition expressed their discontent in the comments section of Beyoncé’s post, lamenting having to buy the new vinyl to be able to listen to ‘Cowboy Carter’ in its entirety.
