Rihanna joins Dior as the new face of J’adore, in a golden campaign photographed by Steven Klein.
In June, Rihanna was announced as the new image of Dior‘s iconic J’adore fragrance line, teasing an upcoming campaign to be photographed by the legendary Steven Klein. Since her appointment as a Dior ambassador in 2015, Rihanna has cultivated a fruitful relationship with the brand. Now, she has signed a full contract with the Maison for the upcoming launch of J’adore, expected to be the biggest since 2018.
Rihanna commented on the announcement: “Being the new face of J’adore is an honor and a mission. I am especially excited to join this adventure and contribute my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and femininity.”
For her part, Véronique Courtois, CEO of Dior, expressed: “The unusual talent, boldness, and captivating beauty of this absolute star are the ideal embodiment of Dior’s dazzling and powerful femininity that transcends generations. Christian Dior would have definitely adored her.”
Today, the Maison has unveiled a first look at Rihanna’s campaign with Steven Klein, promising “a new golden dream.” The release highlights Rihanna, radiant in a golden dress embroidered with pale sequins, created by Maria Grazia Chiuri, uniquely and personally representing the iconic J’adore perfume.
