Steve Madden celebrates New York with its ‘Never Miss a Beat’ campaign for Fall ’24, featuring urban icons and vibrant styles.

Steve Madden has launched its new global campaign for Fall ’24, titled ‘Never Miss a Beat,’ a vibrant ode to New York, the city where the brand began its story in 1990. This video captures the essence of the Big Apple, showcasing unique and everyday moments that can only be experienced in this metropolis.

The video includes cameos from several iconic New Yorkers, such as Brooklyn’s “Green Lady,” famous for always dressing in green; fashion designer Richie Rich; writer Mickey Boardman; drag queen Lady Bunny; and fashion journalist Lynn Yaeger. Additionally, there is a notable appearance by Seth Phillips, known on social media as @guywithasign, holding a sign that says: “Yes, Steve is a real person.” To top it all off, Steve Madden himself makes an appearance serving hot dogs from a Sabrett cart.

With Deee-Lite’s “Groove Is in the Heart” as the soundtrack, the campaign features models dancing through the city streets, engaging in everyday activities like playing basketball, riding the subway, and enjoying 99-cent pizza. Featured footwear styles include the silver Madrid sneaker and the leather Roland and Dollie boots, reflecting the city’s diversity and energy.
