Adidas Originals and designer Edison Chen present the new CLOT LNY collection, a limited edition paying tribute to the Year of the Snake, blending tradition and modernity. With vibrant red and gold details, the collection celebrates the prosperity and festive spirit characteristic of the Lunar New Year.
The standout piece of this collection is the CLOT LNY Superstar sneaker, notable for its design inspired by the adaptability and fluidity of a snake. Its jacquard upper features a striking snakeskin pattern, along with silk print details, a first for this series. Additionally, it includes a coin ornament that links the design to themes of wealth and cultural heritage, evoking Chen’s debut with adidas at Shanghai Fashion Week.
The collection also offers exclusive garments such as the Combot Pant and Track Top, both with premium cuts, snake-inspired prints, and jacquard details that reflect luxury and authenticity.
For the launch, a cultural event was organised in Mexico City, showcasing the connection between Chinese and Mexican traditions. The collection is now available on the CONFIRMED app, with the Superstar sneakers launching globally on 16 January.
