The Italian house unveils its Fall 2026 collection in Dubai with a vision of subtle seduction, restrained luxury and contemporary romanticism.

Alberta Ferretti presented its Fall 2026 collection under the title Sweet Escape, marking a pivotal moment for the brand with its first major runway show in the Middle East, staged in Dubai. As Milan prepares to host the Winter Olympics, the house deliberately chose a contrasting setting, embracing a city where tradition and transformation coexist with striking ease.

For creative director Lorenzo Serafini, Dubai represents a true cultural crossroads, an energy that resonates deeply with the spirit of the collection. His vision is rooted in an international woman, unconstrained by borders and defined by a shared attitude rather than a specific place. This idea translates into a nuanced, elegant femininity designed to reassure and accompany the wearer, rather than perform for external approval.

Eveningwear emerges as one of the collection’s central pillars. Airy chiffon gowns, fluid silhouettes and languid movement dominate the runway, elevated by beaded embroideries, ostrich feathers and softly shimmering surfaces that deliver a measured sense of glamour. Particularly striking are the velvet cape dresses, cut with clean lines and rendered in intense ruby and aubergine tones, encapsulating the essence of quiet luxury.

In daywear, Serafini introduces a Victorian-inspired language reinterpreted through a modern lens. Tailored silhouettes, twisted jackets, supple leathers and pleated trousers are set against sheer shirts and softly ruched fabrics, creating a refined dialogue between structure and fluidity. Subtly treated lamb leather, pencil skirts and flat footwear complete a wardrobe that feels sophisticated, functional and unmistakably contemporary.
