Spanish brand Camper showcased its latest footwear line called “Tormenta” at Paris Fashion Week, designed by global creative director Achilles Ion Gabriel. This line represents a new standard of sustainability within the company and stands out for its avant-garde and innovative design.
Tormenta is part of Camper’s strong commitment to innovation and sustainability. The line is presented in four color combinations and will be available in the Autumn/Winter 2023 season. The models can be purchased at official Camper stores and selected multi-brand establishments.

“Taking the CamperLab philosophy further than ever, Tormenta is the result of an entirely sustainable vision, including materials exclusively of natural origin and environmentally friendly,” highlights the footwear brand from Mallorca. “With a ‘runner’ inspired design that evokes the ever-changing nature of a stormy sky, the silhouette of Tormenta is organic and streamlined,” they add, while “its thick sole smoothly wraps around the shoe, merging with it,” completing the profile of “a new sneaker with an innovative and responsible approach,” both in terms of “material selection and manufacturing.”
The Tormenta line utilizes carefully selected, high-quality materials with a focus on sustainability and minimal environmental impact. Fibers such as Sorona, a polyester microfiber with plant-based fibers, and HyphaLite, bio-based fibers that replace petroleum-derived textiles in the fashion and footwear industry, are used.

The Tormenta shoes are composed of Sorona fibers and the regenerative compound HyphaLite. Materials such as Mirum (an alternative to leather), natural rubber outsole, and Eva, breathable and soft bamboo linings, as well as Lyocell Tencel laces, are also employed. The Ortholite insole provides exceptional comfort and adapts perfectly to the shape of the foot.
