As the first major awards event since the SAG-AFTRA strike, which halted many activities in Hollywood, including awards ceremonies and after-parties, the Golden Globe Awards 2024 generated great anticipation. While all eyes were on the red carpet, stage, and winners’ room, there was also much to observe during the cocktail and dinner portions of the event. Unlike the Oscars or the Grammys, the Golden Globes allow guests at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to sit, enjoy a meal (this year, sushi created by Nobu Matsuhisa), and best of all, have a drink or two.
As usual, bottles of Moët & Chandon, the official Champagne of the awards, were in abundance; the “Moët’s Toast for a Cause” initiative also allowed attendees to toast to a charitable cause of their choice on the red carpet.
