LET’S SWIM, the new swimwear brand by David Koma, merges fashion, sustainability, and marine protection in its innovative collection.
LET’S SWIM is the new swimwear and lifestyle brand by designer David Koma, offering an exploration of the ocean and its vast environment. At the heart of the collection is the LET’S SWIM mascot, a humble shark aiming to represent conservation and protection.

Born from Koma’s love of travel, the new label seeks to capture the feeling of freedom and liberation that comes from being at the beach or by the pool, mimicking a ‘state of uninhibited nakedness.’

“LET’S SWIM has provided me with a platform to explore new interests, a concept that combines my love of travel with my work in fashion. I’ve always been intrigued by single-product brands, and swimwear felt like a natural progression and a creative outlet. LET’S SWIM combines the idea of traveling to beautiful destinations with my fascination for sharks and aquatic life. It celebrates the beauty of the human body and the wonders of the marine world cohesively, helping to change misconceptions about sharks through cinematic stories of divers and conservationists,” says Koma.

Recreating classic silhouettes, the first collection draws inspiration from 1980s swimwear, featuring ten bikinis and five swimsuits along with eight beach cover-ups. Standout pieces include the one-shoulder bandeau swimsuit and the long mesh dress, in shades of blue, red, white, and black.
Sustainability is key for the LET’S SWIM brand, with 96% of the pieces crafted from ECONYL, a regenerated nylon yarn made from post-consumer waste. The entire collection is made from organic cotton and recycled polyamide, with fully recyclable packaging. The brand also aims to collaborate with divers, shark conservationists, and charities to make the oceans safer for marine life.
