Jennifer Lopez has no problem baring it all. She has never shied away from showing a bit of skin, whether it’s with a belly-grazing crop top or her iconic Versace dress. This weekend, in celebration of her eponymous body care line, she stripped down completely.
On Sunday, the multi-talented artist shared a photo on Instagram featuring her famous radiant skin. She revealed her bare back and leg, accompanying the image with a caption detailing the benefits of the JLo Beauty body collection.
JLo Goes Bare
In the image, Lopez kept her makeup minimal, with bronzed eyelids and cheeks, glossy lips, and plenty of highlighter. Her hair was styled with volume, draped over one shoulder, showcasing her golden highlights.
She captioned the post with “It’s about being consistent,” a sentiment often echoed by her. She frequently tells her fans that “consistency is key” when it comes to skincare.
All About the “JLo Glow”
The “JLo glow” has been synonymous with the singer almost since she first entered the spotlight. Her fragrance — aptly named ‘Glow by JLo’ — launched in 2002, and nearly 20 years later, she introduced a skincare line promising to deliver a similar radiance to beauty enthusiasts everywhere.
When JLo Beauty hit the market in 2021, the line included eight products: a gel cleanser, a serum, a mask, an SPF moisturizer, an eye cream, a nighttime moisturizer, a “complexion booster,” and a dietary supplement. Then, in 2022 (to celebrate her 53rd birthday), she expanded the range to include body care: a serum, a hydrating body cream, and a targeted “Booty Balm.”
“We give all this attention and care to the skin on our face, but sometimes we neglect our body,” Lopez said in a video for her newsletter subscribers when she launched the body line. “We can’t neglect this. This is our temple, this is our body.”
