Jude Law and the cast of The Holiday are open to returning, but only if Nancy Meyers is at the helm.

Jude Law, fondly remembered for his role as Graham in the 2006 romantic comedy, has expressed interest in revisiting the cosy charm of the English countryside. However, the actor has set a clear condition: Nancy Meyers, the original director, must lead the project. “Of course, I’d do it,” he said in a recent interview, “but only if Nancy is involved.”

Law isn’t the only cast member willing to return. Kate Winslet, who played Iris, shared in 2022 that she would love to reunite with her character’s love interest, Miles (Jack Black), though she dismissed rumours of a sequel in development. “It would be so much fun to see Miles and Iris again. Can you imagine their kids? Little Jack Blacks running around!” she joked.

Jack Black has also voiced his enthusiasm, even teasing sequel ideas with Meyers via direct messages.

For Law, any continuation would need to reunite the original cast and recapture the festive spirit. “You can’t imagine these characters on a sunny beach. It has to be set during the holiday season again,” he remarked. For now, the story’s return rests in Meyers’ hands and her unmistakable touch.
