Although fans had to wait, Justin Bieber’s SWAG II is finally here with 23 tracks and multiple unexpected collaborations.
Justin Bieber has made a powerful return to the music scene. After announcing that his new album, titled SWAG II, would drop at midnight on 5 September, the artist kept his followers on edge for more than three hours before unveiling the highly anticipated project.
At 31, the Canadian singer had promised the music would arrive on time, but the night passed without a trace of the album on streaming platforms. It wasn’t until 2:40 a.m. (ET) that Bieber updated his Instagram account, assuring fans the release would happen in “20 minutes.” That new deadline, however, also slipped by.
Finally, SWAG II landed on Spotify around 3:45 a.m. ET, surprising fans who had stayed awake and were eager to listen to the full album.
The record features 23 new tracks, including standout songs like “Speed Demon”, “Better Man” and “Love Song”. It also brings in collaborations with the likes of Tems, Bakar, Hurricane Chris, Lil B and Eddie Benjamin, adding sonic variety to Bieber’s most ambitious project in years.
SWAG II is now available to stream and can also be purchased on iTunes. The verdict? More mature, bolder, and still carrying the charisma that once took him to the top. A comeback with style… and with swag.
