Jonathan Anderson celebrates the adaptation of Luca Guadagnino’s Queer with a fashion capsule blending cinema, design, and evocative visual references.

Jonathan Anderson, designer for the British label JW Anderson, marks the release of Queer, Luca Guadagnino’s latest adaptation, with a limited-edition capsule inspired by the film’s visual universe. This collaboration comes as no surprise given the designer’s connection to the cinematic world, previously showcased in collections inspired by Howl’s Moving Castle and his work on Challengers.

The capsule includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies that capture the essence of Queer. The pieces stand out for their use of the film’s title in vibrant colours like grey, gold, bright pink, and steel blue, echoing the official poster design. Additionally, the hoodies feature unique details such as beaded drawstrings and the phrase: “I want to talk to you… without talking,” printed on the back in grey and navy tones.

Meanwhile, the sweatshirts showcase stills from the film featuring Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey, available in shades like cornflower blue, pastel pink, and bright green. The collection is rounded out with steel blue and grey melange T-shirts, a white tote bag, and caps in khaki and navy.

The capsule is now available at stores in London and Milan, as well as on JW Anderson’s website, coinciding with the premiere of Queer.
