Katy Perry releases ‘Woman’s World’ on July 11th, marking a new era following her album “Smile” and Las Vegas residency.
Katy Perry has officially unveiled the first single from her highly anticipated sixth album, titled ‘Woman’s World’, set to be released next month. Following private listening sessions for her new project, the pop star confirmed that ‘Woman’s World’ will be available on July 11th at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the premiere of the official music video the next day.
The single’s cover art, photographed by Jack Bridgland, features Perry in metallic armor-style pants and a bikini top. Perry has also teased a snippet of ‘Woman’s World’ on TikTok, showcasing herself singing part of the song in a selfie-style video.
While details about her sixth album, including its title and release date, remain scarce, anticipation is high. It’s been nearly four years since Perry released ‘Smile’ in August 2020. That album spawned several singles, including ‘Daisies’ and the title track, but performed weaker compared to her previous works, debuting at number 5 on the Billboard 200.
Since ‘Smile’, Perry has been busy with her Las Vegas residency named Play, running from 2021 to 2023. Her last performance in November hinted at her new era, concluding with a message stating “See you next year.”
Beyond music, Perry has been active as a judge on American Idol for seven seasons. In February, she announced that the 22nd season would be her last, concluding her tenure in May. In September, she sold her music catalog for $255 million to Litmus Music, a company backed by Carlyle that also acquired Keith Urban’s master recordings.
With ‘Woman’s World’, Katy Perry gears up to reclaim the stages and charts, promising a new era filled with energy and creativity. Her fans eagerly await the next chapter of her musical career.
