Jisoo stars in a retro-futuristic campaign for Self-Portrait, effortlessly blending 1960s nostalgia with artificial intelligence.
In a new collaboration that reaffirms her global magnetism, Jisoo becomes the digital muse for Self-Portrait’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection, captured through the lens of Drew Vickers and set against AI-generated backdrops.
Entitled Dreams of Past Lives, the project places the BLACKPINK star in dreamlike landscapes inspired by the vibrant aesthetics of the 1960s, seamlessly merging the real and the simulated with a timeless elegance. Standout pieces include a gingham-check nylon set, a houndstooth skort, lace-trimmed blouses, and impeccably tailored cotton mini dresses.
For Han Chong, founder of the London-based brand, technology is not a replacement but an enhancement: “We wanted to build new worlds for Jisoo to inhabit.” The singer, in turn, embraces the creative freedom the collaboration provides: “I feel empowered to explore every facet of myself.”
Since 2017, their relationship has evolved organically, reflecting the spirit of a generation that sees Jisoo as an iconic figure in constant reinvention.
The result? A borderless retro-glam vision that anticipates the future of fashion through a luminous, nostalgic lens.
