Many pointed out that water safety for children requires such protection, calling it a “basic boating rule”.
In response to the wave of comments, Kardashian acted immediately and shared her reply on Instagram. “Update: I bought a life jacket that fits him perfectly!”, she wrote alongside a photo of the model she purchased. In the same post, she admitted she had not considered the risks: “Thank you for warning me. Honestly, I hadn’t thought about some of the dangers. Thank you for making me aware, and I hope this helps other mums to be aware too of the risks of certain types of boating without a life jacket.”
