Lamine Yamal signs a long-term deal with Barcelona, securing his future and setting a record-breaking €1 billion release clause.

FC Barcelona secures its future as Lamine Yamal, the rising star of world football, signs a long-term deal until 2031.

The club’s teenage sensation, who turns 18 this July, has penned a lucrative new contract keeping him at the club until June 30, 2031, when he’ll be 23 years old. Yamal’s deal includes a base salary reportedly reaching €15 million per season, with additional bonuses based on performance – including the chance to win the Ballon d’Or.

A staggering €1 billion release clause, the highest in the club’s history, underlines Barcelona’s determination to keep him amid growing interest from Europe’s elite.

Yamal, who emerged from La Masia, made his senior debut in 2023 at just 15. In the recent season, he was instrumental in Barcelona’s treble-winning campaign, contributing 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 matches, including the title-winning strike in LaLiga.

Off the pitch, he recently signed as an ambassador for OPPO, reinforcing his image as a global football icon. This new contract not only rewards his talent but also strengthens his position as a future legend of the club.
