The French Maison transforms its most iconic motif into fine jewellery, blending tradition, sensuality, and artisanal precision.
Louis Vuitton reimagines its signature design as an intimate experience. In Le Damier de Louis Vuitton, the historic checkerboard pattern —once painted on travel trunks bound for distant horizons— is reborn in gold and diamonds, moving fluidly with the body and shifting softly with the light.
First unveiled in 2024, the collection introduced a fresh interpretation of the Damier motif, balancing geometric precision with tactile grace. For 2025, a new hue enriches the narrative: pink gold, joining yellow and white gold to bring a quiet warmth and modern elegance. Rings, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces intertwine naturally, designed to layer or rest gently against the skin.

Each jewel is meticulously handcrafted, link by link, with the rigour of fine watchmaking. The gold bends and breathes, allowing light to filter through, while hidden clasps blend seamlessly into the design. The result is fluidity: pieces that don’t sit on the skin but rather melt into it. The interplay between polished gold and slightly off-centre diamonds creates a subtle visual rhythm —a reflection of Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s fascination with geometry, proportion, and the art of touch.

The introduction of pink gold adds a tender glow, like sunlight fading at the end of the day. More than adornment, each piece is a quiet statement of sophistication and legacy. Le Damier de Louis Vuitton honours craftsmanship as a living art —not about perfection, but about movement, light, and life itself.
