LISA’s festive remix of ‘MOONLIT FLOOR (Kiss Me)’, infused with Christmas cheer, sets the stage for her upcoming debut album, ‘Alter Ego’.

With the holiday season fast approaching, LISA of BLACKPINK has unveiled a festive reimagining of her latest single, ‘MOONLIT FLOOR (Kiss Me)’. The track, now titled the ‘Santa Baby Remix’, transforms the bubblegum-pop love song with Christmas-inspired lyrics, including the playful hook, “Santa baby got me trippin’”.

Produced by American artist Rykeyz, the remix features traditional Christmas bells, infusing the song with a warm, seasonal charm. Its title nods to Eartha Kitt’s timeless classic, ‘Santa Baby’, adding a nostalgic touch to the mix. Notably, the original version of ‘MOONLIT FLOOR (Kiss Me)’ already draws from Sixpence None The Richer’s iconic 1997 hit ‘Kiss Me’, further showcasing LISA’s penchant for blending diverse influences.

Born in Thailand and now a global star, LISA’s multicultural ethos is reflected throughout her work. Her forthcoming debut album, ‘Alter Ego’, set for release on 28 February 2024, promises to explore this diversity further. Its second single, ‘New Woman’, features a collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalía, where the two artists alternate between English and Spanish verses, offering an electrifying cultural crossover.

‘MOONLIT FLOOR (Kiss Me) (Santa Baby Remix)’ is available on all streaming platforms now.
