Louis Vuitton reinvents the Tambour with brown ceramic and rose gold, merging innovation, craftsmanship, and elegance in a timeless and exclusive design.
Louis Vuitton continues to innovate in high watchmaking with the launch of a new version of the Tambour, this time made from brown ceramic and rose gold. This model reflects the evolution of the iconic collection, combining traditional craftsmanship with technological advancements.

The 40 mm case retains the distinctive tambour shape, but is now crafted from zirconium oxide ceramic, a material that is highly resistant to scratches and wear. Achieving the brand’s characteristic brown tone posed a challenge, requiring a meticulous development process and over 90 hours of manual finishing.

The bracelet, made up of curved ceramic links, incorporates a hidden assembly system with an internal structure in rose gold, ensuring an ergonomic fit. The stepped dial, featuring a deep brown finish, plays with brushed and sandblasted textures to enhance legibility.

Inside, the automatic movement LFT023 offers a power reserve of 50 hours and certified precision. Visible through the sapphire case back, the calibre showcases refined finishes and decoration inspired by Louis Vuitton’s aesthetic codes. With this launch, the brand reaffirms its commitment to innovation and horological excellence.
