Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi announced on Instagram the adoption of their first daughter, embarking together on an exciting new family chapter.
The ‘Stranger Things‘ star, 21, revealed the news on Instagram: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet daughter through adoption. We are beyond thrilled to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in peace and privacy.”
The couple, who secretly tied the knot in May 2024 with Matthew Modine officiating, have been together since 2021. Brown had previously expressed her desire to start a family young, following in the footsteps of both her own parents and the Bongiovi family.
In an earlier interview, the actress explained: “I’ve always wanted a big family. For me, there’s no difference between having a biological child or adopting.”
While adjusting to motherhood, Millie is also preparing for a busy autumn: the premiere of the final season of ‘Stranger Things‘ (26 November and 25 December), the filming of ‘Enola Holmes 3’ and her upcoming role in Netflix’s ‘Just Picture It‘.
