Oprah Winfrey will join Diane von Furstenberg in Venice for the 15th edition of the prestigious DVF Awards.

The city of Venice will host the 15th edition of the DVF Awards, which celebrate extraordinary women in a ceremony known for its elegance and purpose. This year, Oprah Winfrey will join Diane von Furstenberg as a presenter for the event, which coincides with the 60th Biennale di Venezia and the 81st Venice Film Festival.

This year’s honorees include Jacinda Ardern, former Prime Minister of New Zealand; Yael Admi, co-founder of Women Wage Peace; Reem Al-Hajajreh, co-founder and director of Women of the Sun; Xiye Bastida, climate activist and co-founder of Re-Earth Initiative; Alessandra Kustermann, reproductive rights advocate; and Graça Machel, advocate for women’s and children’s rights.

The event will also feature Italian actress and director Paola Cortellesi and a performance by Freya Ridings. The DVF Awards, established in 2010 by von Furstenberg and the Diller-von Furstenberg Foundation, grant $100,000 to each honoree to support their nonprofit organizations. Additionally, further grants will be awarded to five past honorees, highlighting the lasting impact of this prestigious recognition.
