The brand Rare Beauty, founded by Selena Gomez, introduces its new True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation, designed with a blurred finish and long-lasting wear.

The beauty industry welcomes a new release set to become one of the most sought-after products of the year. Rare Beauty, the brand created by Selena Gomez, has officially announced the arrival of the True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation, a formula developed to deliver long-lasting coverage, a natural matte finish and visibly smoother-looking skin.

The new product is described as an innovative “self-priming and self-setting” formula, meaning it works as a primer, foundation and setting product in a single step. Offering medium to full coverage, it promises a soft-focus effect that minimises the appearance of pores while keeping the skin velvety and refined for up to eight hours.

According to Selena Gomez, the idea behind the product came from a personal need. The artist wanted to recreate the flawless skin effect typically seen on film sets, but in a version comfortable enough for everyday wear. The result is a lightweight foundation, easy to apply and designed to blend seamlessly into the skin.

The True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation is specially formulated for normal, combination and oily skin types, delivering a buildable matte finish depending on application. It expands the brand’s existing range with an inclusive selection of 48 shades, created to suit a wide spectrum of skin tones.

Beyond its make-up performance, the formula also includes skincare ingredients that help keep the skin hydrated and balanced. These include ginger root extract and algae extract, known for their soothing and revitalising properties.

Another key feature is its airy texture, designed to blend effortlessly without streaks or creasing, allowing coverage to be built without a heavy feel.

The True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation will retail at 38 dollars and will be available from 2 April at Sephora and on the official Rare Beauty website. With this launch, the brand further strengthens its position in the competitive global beauty market.
