One thing I love about red carpets is seeing how new trends emerge that we can incorporate into our daring looks. And Cannes has brought us one of the most revealing trends: the “show bra”.
If we take a closer look at the photos from the red carpet, we can see bras, bralettes, corsets, and bustiers peeking out from above the dresses.
Some of the celebrities who have embraced this new trend, derived from the lingerie trend, are Scarlett Johansson, Sydney Sweeney, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Scarlett wore a hot pink strapless dress by Prada, with its upper part creating the illusion of wearing a white bra. Sydney donned a slip dress by Miu Miu that showcased a baby blue bralette under the corset. Similarly, Rosie was seen in a Fendi Haute Couture look that appeared to have a bedazzled bra incorporated. Finally, Cindy Bruna also embraced this trend with a floral and polka dot dress by Vivienne Westwood that revealed a strapless bra underneath.
And one thing is clear, these looks are so incredible that we can’t help but want to embrace this trend.
