Silvia Onofri will be the new CEO of Miu Miu, replacing Benedetta Petruzzo, at a time of significant growth for the brand.
The Prada Group has confirmed the appointment of Silvia Onofri as the new CEO of Miu Miu, a position she will take up on February 26. Onofri replaces Benedetta Petruzzo, who in October moved to lead Christian Dior Couture as General Manager.
With an impressive career in the luxury industry, Onofri started her journey at Bulgari and later moved to Bally, where she rose to become CEO of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region in 2018. She then led the global wholesale sales business. In 2023, she took on the role of President at outerwear brand Napapijri, repositioning it in the market and appointing its first global creative director, Christopher Raeburn.
Onofri’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Miu Miu, which has experienced exceptional growth. In the first nine months of 2024, its retail revenue increased by 97%, reaching 854 million euros. The brand now accounts for 25% of the Prada Group’s sales.
With Onofri at the helm, Miu Miu aims to consolidate its success and continue innovating in contemporary luxury fashion.
