Actress Sydney Sweeney, known for her role as Cassie Howard in the hit series ‘Euphoria,’ has shared her excitement for the highly anticipated return of the show for its third season. At 26 years old, Sweeney expressed in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan magazine her eagerness to get back on set, noting that this is the first time she’s experienced such a long break between seasons.
“It’s a new process for me,” Sweeney commented. “We had a long gap between the first and second seasons, but now, with this time jump, it’s like learning on the go and being open to whatever comes. I love Cassie; she’s a fascinating character to play, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in her life.”
Sweeney also highlighted the familiar atmosphere on set: “I’ve always said it’s like coming home. The crew and cast were there at the beginning of my career. We all come from different places, but together we’ve been through a lot, so it’s really nice to have that core group. It’s comforting to have that community.”
Despite rumors of possible tensions between the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, and Zendaya, Sweeney seems more than ready to face the challenges this new season may bring.
