Discover the five most iconic Fashion Week invitations created by top fashion houses like Fendi, Loewe, and Jacquemus, which have set trends in recent years.
It’s no secret that top fashion houses organise shows each year to unveil their new collections. Over time, some of the most innovative and iconic invitations have left a lasting impact. Below, we’ve gathered some of the standout invitations:
1. ‘Show on the Wall’ with Loewe
During the pandemic, Loewe’s 2021 collection, curated by Jonathan Anderson, featured a unique invitation. Attendees received a portfolio that allowed them to “build” their interpretation of the event. It included posters, wallpaper, scissors, glue, and a ceramic disc with a special scent. The invitation also featured the score of ‘Spem in Alium‘ by Thomas Tallis and a letter from Anderson, inviting guests to experiment with new directions in fashion. This innovative approach reflected Loewe’s cultural and artistic vision.

2. Breakfast with Jacquemus in Paris
For his Fall/Winter 2023 collection at Paris Fashion Week, Jacquemus offered a unique invitation: a breakfast of toast and butter, with the brand’s name marked on both. The date and location of the show were revealed after enjoying the meal, creating a curious and immersive atmosphere.
Simon, the designer, explained, “My idea was to translate the Jacquemus universe and my visual obsessions through the iconic windows of Galeries Lafayette. I like the idea that anyone passing by can experience an immersive journey and discover Jacquemus’ story in all its facets.”

3. Rummo Pasta x Fendi
Next, Fendi took inspiration from its roots for its design, using a pasta box personalised with the brand’s logo as the main element of the invitation. Shaped like the brand’s logo, the repeated name “Fendi” created a design that played with typography, delivering a strong visual impact. The invitation was an elegant and sophisticated design, generating anticipation for the show.

4. The Key to Paradise with Balenciaga
Balenciaga’s Spring 2024 invitation wasn’t a simple piece of paper, but a leather key with multiple meanings. Designed as a keychain for a bag, it transformed an everyday object into a symbol of power, access, and mystery. Rather than a traditional invitation, Balenciaga opted for an amulet that not only granted access to the event but also symbolised “opening a door” to a unique, exclusive, and memorable experience.
With its minimalist and elegant design, the key became a luxury talisman, opening a symbolic door to Balenciaga’s creative and avant-garde universe.

5. Lights, Camera, Action with Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton’s invitation for the Fall/Winter 2023 collection took the form of a clapperboard, a tribute to the world of cinema with the brand’s signature luxury touch. Made with high-quality materials, it featured the Louis Vuitton logo, the famous monogram pattern, and details that made it a collector’s item. The clapperboard, typically used to indicate scenes or takes, included the event’s details: date, time, and location, with carefully chosen typography reflecting the brand’s elegance.
By incorporating a cinematic element, Louis Vuitton appealed to an audience that appreciates both film and haute couture, creating an emotional connection with guests and an exclusive atmosphere. This invitation underscored the brand’s ability to innovate and surprise, maintaining its status as a leader in haute couture and luxury design.
