Tommy Hilfiger showcased his Spring 25 collection aboard the MV John F. Kennedy ferry, blending nautical style with contemporary touches.

Tommy Hilfiger celebrated a return to his nautical roots at New York Fashion Week with a memorable show aboard the MV John F. Kennedy, the historic Staten Island ferry. Located at Pier 17 in South Street Seaport, with views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, the event paid homage to the iconic maritime colors of red, white, and blue that define Hilfiger’s style.

The Spring 25 collection stood out for its classic nautical touches, such as Breton and Ithaca stripes, racing jackets, and lightweight materials like sail nylons and wrinkled cottons. Capri pants and solid-colored fisherman’s fabrics evoked a relaxed coastal style. Hilfiger described the collection as a blend of “effortless summer style with a city-ready confidence.”

However, some elements, such as bold checkered patterns and raffia baseball caps, seemed disconnected from the main nautical theme, introducing a mix of styles that clashed with the maritime inspiration. The show, which featured celebrities like BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and a live performance by Wu-Tang Clan, concluded with a soundtrack curated by Questlove, combining classic and modern tracks.
