The house of Valentino reinvents itself with Clairo as its new muse, opening a striking new chapter in fashion.
The Italian Maison has unveiled its Fall Winter 2025 campaign, a vision crafted by Alessandro Michele, who places singer-songwriter Clairo at its centre. The American indie-pop icon becomes the latest embodiment of Michele’s fascination with dark-haired muses.
Clairo’s relationship with the house has been steadily growing throughout the year. She attended the Valentino FW25 show in spring, where her presence captured attention. Soon after, she was named a global ambassador and made her debut at the Met Gala, dazzling in a dramatic tiered skirt, grey tweed jacket and a playful cat-shaped clutch — a look that marked her as one of the brand’s essential new faces.

Shot by Michele’s long-time collaborator Glen Luchford, the campaign revisits the striking red-tiled bathroom set first revealed in Paris. Michele describes it as “a counter-place where private and relational dimensions mingle”, a liminal space that transforms into a stage of gazes, encounters and desire.

Joining Clairo in this third chapter are Kembra Pfahler, Aimée Byrne, Isabella Pascucci, Shane Stevens, Hana Janata, Sanique Dill, Weiyi Fang, Bukwop Kir, Paul Scally and Giuseppe Cirillo, a diverse cast that embodies multiplicity and intimacy at the heart of Michele’s vision.
Clairo’s presence also builds a bridge between fashion and music. Following the release of her third album Charm in 2024, the artist has stepped into a new phase of her career. Her stylistic evolution mirrors her artistic growth: once known for her understated aura, she now embraces the dramatic silhouettes of Valentino.

With this campaign, Valentino underscores its commitment to crafting powerful, romantic, and contemporary narratives — transforming a red-tiled bathroom into an imaginative stage where identities and desires collide.
