Channing Tatum debuts in the Versace Eros campaign, embodying the modern god of love in a stunning visual spectacle.

Archery may have been one of the standout disciplines at the Paris Olympics, but Donatella Versace has managed to turn it into a glamorous show. The creative director of Versace handed a bow and arrow to Channing Tatum for his first campaign with the fashion house, launching this Tuesday. As reported last month, Tatum was chosen as the face of Versace Eros men’s fragrances, including the new Eros Energy eau de parfum pour homme, which joins the existing Eros and Eros Flame fragrances.

In the images and video directed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Tatum embodies a modern version of the Greek god of love who gives the fragrance collection its name. In the campaign, his character competes against his own arrow, representing a constant challenge to be better, stronger, and to achieve unimaginable goals. The arrow’s journey traverses various landscapes, reflecting the different fragrances: from a burst of energy for Eros Energy, to a waterfall for Eros, and rocky terrain for Eros Flame.

Donatella Versace expressed her excitement about the images, describing Tatum as the perfect embodiment of the fragrance, combining strength, determination, and charm. Tatum, for his part, highlighted the campaign’s creative vision and unique energy, feeling honored to represent such an influential line of fragrances.

The new Eros Energy fragrance, inspired by the Mediterranean coast, combines citrus and woody notes, and will be available globally starting in September in various sizes. This collaboration strengthens Tatum’s relationship with the brand, having worn Versace on multiple occasions, and anticipates his presence with the brand at future events.
