Jon Gries, star of ‘The White Lotus’, takes centre stage in Jacquemus’ latest campaign, a banana-filled, humorous and stylish take on spring fashion set on an unconventional golf course.

Jacquemus breaks the mould once again with its most playful campaign to date, led by the charismatic 67-year-old actor. Jon Gries becomes the unexpected face of spring style, captured in a series of eccentric images featuring tailored suits, banana prints, and a generous dose of irony.

Set against the quirky backdrop of a golf course, the campaign showcases Gries wearing everything from banana-printed boxers and loungewear to sharply tailored ensembles. In one shot, he leans casually against a banana-yellow car; in another, he drives a golf cart piled high with tropical fruit. He’s even seen perched in a wheelbarrow full of tulips, holding a sign that reads “I LOVE BANANAS.”

The French designer’s fascination with the fruit is no surprise, a banana-print dress already made its runway debut during the La Croisière show in January. This past weekend, the theme extended to Los Angeles, where Jacquemus opened his flagship store dressed like a tropical market. Gries joined guests including Cole Sprouse and Daniel Roseberry at the launch.

With this campaign, Jacquemus proves that fashion can be playful, bold and delightfully absurd.
