HBO production company HBO is working on the creation of a new series inspired by ‘Harry Potter’ with a completely revamped cast.
An adaptation of J.K. Rowling’ s ‘Harry Potter’ series is officially slated for HBO Max. The announcement first took place earlier this month when it became known that production company Warner Bros. Discovery was on the verge of reaching an agreement regarding the series.
According to Warner Bros. DiscoveryEach season of the series will be based on one of the books in the franchise. It is expected to be “one of the series of the decade”. It has also been confirmed that the piece will bring a completely renewed cast. At the investor meeting, HBO CEO and Max Content, Casey Bloys said, “We are thrilled to give audiences the opportunity to discover Hogwarts in a completely new way.” He adds, “This new Max Original series will put the spotlight on each of the books that fans have followed for so long.”
